Building trust is key to making low- and zero-emission maritime transport succeed. In close collaboration with research partner NORCE and the University of Bergen, Maritime CleanTech is diving into how to strengthen public confidence.

With support from Vestland County Municipality, this project aims to map barriers and drivers for social acceptance by combining technology assessment, citizen involvement, and tools such as Social Readiness Level (SRL).

The initiative seeks to increase competence, reduce implementation risks, and enable successful scaling of climate-friendly maritime transport.
