EU funding and policy decisions increasingly shape the pace of maritime decarbonisation. Through active engagement in European partnerships and networks, Maritime CleanTech helps ensure that industry needs are reflected in the frameworks that will define the transition.
By contributing to priorities, call topics and evaluation criteria, Maritime CleanTech helps influence which solutions are supported and how quickly they can scale. The aim is to align EU ambitions with the realities of deployment in industry.
Maritime CleanTech engages in EU partnerships, projects and networks where programme design, investment priorities and implementation rules are developed. This provides early insight into what is coming and strengthens partners’ ability to position, compete and mobilise quickly.
Through leadership in working groups within the EU Waterborne Technology Platform, and through its role as national coordinator, Maritime CleanTech helps coordinate input to European research, policy and investment for zero-emission waterborne transport. This work helps shape what gets funded, how progress is measured and how fast solutions move from concept to commercial reality.
